Inspection & Registration
HB 2305 was passed during the 83rd Legislative Session (2013) and created the One Sticker program. The bill eliminated the inspection sticker resulting in a single-sticker system that makes vehicle registration dependent on obtaining a passing vehicle inspection.

Each session, interest groups seek to end the inspection program in Texas and we work hard to ensure legislators understand the benefits of the program and the protections it offers for Texans. To continue to fight on behalf of station owners, we need your help.
POLICY
The Texas State Inspection Association (TSIA) represents the interests of the inspection industry by working closely with the Texas Legislature, DPS and DMV to ensure the safety inspection program is an effective, common sense program that keeps unsafe, dirty cars off the roads. We keep our members informed of all policy issues affecting station owners and the inspection industry.
